Career and College Promise gives West Meck, as well as, North Carolina high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to get a "jump start" and earn college credit toward a two-year or four-year degree while still in high school. In Career and College Promise, you are dually enrolled in your high school (West Mecklenburg High School) and at Central Piedmont Community College, allowing you to receive both high school and college credit for courses taken through the program. Best of all, Career and College Promise classes are tuition-free. Additionally, CMS students fees are paid by CMS in fall and spring semesters. In the summer, CMS students are also responsible for fees.
